Nah dude. I’m definitely putting in more productive hours at home. Instead of the occasional hour or two random conversation with the people that sit near me I’m, taking 10 to 15 minutes to throw in some laundry. Also I’m far more likely to stay over since my commute is 20 feet instead of 30 minutes. I can’t remember the last time I left early on a Friday either. I used to do that in the office because everyone else had left so I figured there was no point in me sticking around either.
Convert those useless buildings to housing. You can still measure how much work is getting done and who’s doing it. Just because you hate being in virtual meetings all day doesn’t mean the rest of us aren’t still practically glued to our keyboards doing the actual work at home just like we were in the office.
Someone doesn’t want to admit that all those big office buildings aren’t as necessary as we’ve been led to believe.
