Contradictions how? Are we talking about how in one chapter it may say “Don’t poke people with sticks” and then in another book (likely written hundreds of years later) it says “Hey go out and poke everybody with sticks!”, or are we talking continuity errors, like maybe in the New Testament Gospel of Matthew it may say “And Jesus woke up on his 30th birthday and his disciples gave him an awesome pair of sandals, while in the Gospel of Mark it might read “And after waking on his 30th birthday, the disciples gave him a new donkey?”

But really, I’m not so concerned about the New Testament contradicting stuff in the Old, since if you ignore the question of the divinity of Christ, and look at him as a Rabbi and activist, that’s kind of what his whole point was. Essentially he was a Jewish Martin Luther.
Besides, it’s fun to find some Bible thumper who vehemently opposes gay marriage by citing Leviticus as their justification, then asking them if they eat bacon, cut their hair, or shave, since that’s also prohibited in Leviticus. Or maybe Deuteronomy. I forget. My point is the text cannot be taken literally.
Don’t even get me started on everything wrong with the KJV translation, anyway.
