kangxi: This travesty of a film is shameless in the way it completely and rudely ignores the original creator. It’s based on The Adventures of Little Nemo by Winsor McCay (a graphic artist well ahead of his time). Presumably the makers banked on people not knowing or caring who McCay was since he died so long ago (1934). But his books are still in print and are well worth seeking out.
