There is currently a service that will take the deceased to a state where it is legal and perform the aquamation there and bring the remains back to you. Of course that increases the cost. The traditional funeral industry folks (and it IS an industry) are against this because they can’t sell you a $15,000 casket if you’re going to be aquamated. Hell, they can’t even sell you the $50 cardboard cremation box!
