There’s a good reason for it…. the current group of MAGA republicans (small R) are incapable of leading, and therefore can only hold a contrarian position against leadership (aka, everyone not them).
The bulk of the Executive branch and the bulk of Congress are *for* Ukraine, therefore the MAGA right are against it, which happens to be *for* Russia.
The Irony is now MAGA is everything McCarthy was moral panicing against.
