I spent the better part of a month putting this stupid thing together and right when I was at the 90% mark, I accidentally flipped a piece behind the dryer that I was building it on. Why on the dryer? Because I have 5 cats and do not own a “puzzle box” that would let me have an incomplete puzzle just laying about my house. I pulled out the dryer, the cabinet between the dryer and the washer, the washer, disconnected everything and put everything back. I even used a damn Ryobi inspection camera to look inside the dryer and under the unfinished wall that the dryer is up against.
Never found the piece and now a part of my life will never be complete.
So, if you have room somewhere not near the dryer and are only doing this there because of the cats, might I recommend a piece of clear plexiglass? We also have cats the love to play with small objects so puzzles are covered up with a piece of plexiglass when not actively being worked on. This has solved the problem for us and might be of use to you.
This is a pretty cool looking puzzle but colorblind me would probably struggle.
the lack of proper lighting was absolutely killing me on this puzzle, but I realized that they gave a sorta cheat code to it: there’s shadows on the studs, so if you align them all the ‘correct’ way you can go more off puzzle shape than color.
I found the piece a couple months later, it was on the complete other side of the garage. I can only assume at some point it got stuck to someone’s shoe and was moved.
Glad you eventually found it.
