Who honestly is drinking more beer, older people that have a problem with those different than them, or young people who are either supportive or indifferent? I don’t know about you folks but I don’t remember seeing a whole lot of 50 year olds and up when I was going to bars all the time in my 20s.
A large part of this is boomers, GenXers, and even elder millennials aging out of the coveted “target demographic” that companies love so much. These folks are not able to cope with the fact that the world doesn’t revolve around them anymore. The times they are always a changing and you can either get on board or get run over.
