Florida mulls U-turn on move to strip Disney theme-parks of self-governing status – FT

Florida lawmakers are mulling plans to reverse a move that would strip Walt Disney Co of its right to operate a private government around its famous theme-parks, the Financial Times reported on Friday, citing people briefed on the plan.

    Now that the controversy has died down, let this go away and save the FL taxpayers that money. Then if Disney does something else Ron doesn’t like he can threaten this again.

    This was always going to be walked back. It was an election stunt. Had DeathSentence followed through, the consequences would guarantee the end of his political career.
