I’ve had a few free lunches over the years betting developers that yes indeed, a customer will do this weird crazy thing that I figured out how to do and you will have to fix it. I give them the option of either fixing it while we’re still in test, or they can fix it when someone does it in production and then they have to buy me lunch for retesting it. The good developers learn and only have to buy me lunch once. One guy had to do so three times. He doesn’t work there anymore.
