As long as companies keep buying houses instead of family’s we’re going to have another housing bust as people just give up trying and prices plummet again. And when those prices plummet, it will be companies buying and hoarding again.
I seriously think there needs to be a limit on the number of single family homes a person, entity, corporation, LLC, lizard person, slug, joint partnership, married couple, meth lab conglomerate, etc. should be able to own.
your second paragraph is where it’s at. anyone can own, but the more you own, the more you owe in taxes, and there needs to be a upper limit that a total number of corporations can own.
