When an unelected conservative majority simply imposes the right’s policy preferences by fiat, there is little reason for the rest of us to respect the Court’s authority.

    I see various people are raising the possibility of increasing the number of sitting justices. Wouldn’t it be cleaner and simpler and less contentious (at least to logical folk) to introduce an upper age limit?
