    Who is liable when a student gets a hold of one of these guns and harms/kills someone else either accidentally or intentionally? Unlike when this shit happens with cops I’d wager the teacher will be the only one liable in the eyes of the law.

    Arming teachers is a bad idea. Some are rageaholics who WILL shoot a kid in anger. Some are negligent and will leave the gun someplace where a kid will find it and take it. Practically none are trained in firearms.
