Texas police: School door shut but didn’t lock before attack

An exterior door at Robb Elementary School did not lock when it was closed by a teacher shortly before a gunman used it to get inside and kill 19 students and two teachers , leaving investigators searching to determine why, state police said Tuesday.

    If a particular gun is so powerful that cops would rather let 19 kids die than risk confronting a single person wielding one, maybe that gun shouldn’t be legal for just any jackoff to buy.

    The fact that he waited until he was legally old enough to purchase it is proof that gun control laws work. Maybe toss in a law or two raising the age to 21 and banning weapons that are designed to leave softball-size holes in people (if you use that gun to hunt deer, you are an idiot).
