This is going to be a bit of a interesting knot to untie, part of the reason that the CW has worked so well is that they had a library of stories and characters from the WB side of the house, as they own the DC Comics stuff. Will the new owners of the CW have the same access or will they need to stand on the strength of the original IP that they’ll be generating? CW has had some great originals that I’ve personally enjoyed, and plenty of stuff from other IP owners that aren’t WarnerBrothers.

Something I always liked about the CW is that you normally know when it is the last season. I appreciate that if they cancel a show they’ll usually still give it a final 6 episodes or so to wrap it up as best they can. It’s a much saner method than the other networks usually operate with.
