I was just going to say , why would you trust anyone else with ALL YOUR STUFF?? how hard is it to download your pics and videos onto a thumb drive or micro sd once in a while. then no matter what you have it as evidence when suing facebook for jacking your name.
I personally take the photo with my normal camera app, then post it to instagram, so I still have the original on my phone, which is in turn, backed up hourly.
The bar to entry has been lowered so far that people entrust everything to “the cloud” these days without a second thought. Put all your stuff on google drive, every movie, song, and camera a subscription service. Then we wonder why “half the internet” dies everytime someone sneezes in an Amazon DC.
These people don’t even own anything that can take a flash drive. They’d have to take off the phone case, pop out the card drawer (now wheres that little tool?), swap the cards, backup, swap again… all of this hassle compared to just clicking upload to cloud. It’s soooooo easy people forget the consequences.
Shoulda made a backup! These youngsters never learn.
