Could someone please explain why the idiot whose brakes failed doesn’t deserve life? I know he passed a runaway-truck ramp. I know he plowed through traffic instead of going off the road or using a barrier to slow/stop the vehicle (K-bar, sound wall). It was a big-rig. A big-rig is like a train; if the trailer doesn’t get pressurized air from the cab, the wheels lock up. Turn off the engine, no more air supply. He did nothing but use innocents as a crumple zone to give himself a soft stop. That responsibility for guiding literal tons of shit down the road is why most truck drivers make more than I did doing cooperate computer support. Stupid deserves punishment. Also, he was an adult and not in an altered state of mind.
