Keith Smith, who had been on a ventilator, received two doses of the controversial drug before his condition worsened. He died Sunday at age 52.

It remains to be seen if she’ll be charged with his murder.

    A judge should not have the power to force a doctor to use a medical treatment not proven to have any effect on a particular condition. People who are not doctors should not have decision-making capabilities on what treatment is to be used.
