People can easily be successes — and have their own personal rags-to-riches style success stories — if they focus, get a decent degree (e.g. STEM) and work hard, versus begging for donations via PayPal or Patreon like Caitlin’s Twitter bio.

Journalism is important. It should probably pay more when done well. Same with educators. Same with a lot of fields.
