    The people who want to smoke weed are not the people who can plan daily angry protests. Also, the alcohol prohibitionists hadn’t had time to rework law enforcement to profit insanely from illegal alcohol before the prohibition was lifted.

    The president does not have direct power to do so. You want pot legalized, talk to your senators and house reps, or the folks at the state level and have it legalized there.
