    TBF: There are more than 300 million of us… they aren’t tracking us. But, Google, Apple, and our cell phone providers, *ARE* tracking us. And if the Government wants to know where we are, or where we’ve been, they ask Google, Apple, and our cell phone providers.

    I mean, Pro Tip: If you’re planning on criming, leave your fscking cell phone *home*.

    The question I always ask, and can’t seem to get an answer to, is ‘why would the government want to track you? What makes you so special that need to know where you are at every minute?’

    well if they know that you’re a minority or of a particular mindset, then it’ll be easier to just pick you up or make your life a PITA.

    to wit: the government has done this kind of tracking before with political leanings in the past, I have nothing to make me believe they’ve stopped or wont’ do it again. Hell, when trump was president they were tracking people to see if they could expel them.

    Came here to type this. Conspiracy co-worker says he will refuse to have any kind of smart speaker in his house because they’re always listening. He’s not wrong, but, he takes his cell phone with him everywhere, and that device is also always listening.

    I’ve tried to turn all that shit off on my phone, but every now and then it’s like “hey you used the trigger word but you have it disabled”….how the fuck do you know I used a trigger word if it’s off?

    And since cell phones are damn near impossible to physically open without breaking these days, you can’t physically disconnect the microphone without probably bricking the entire phone.
