Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) secured a giant government bailout for Goldman Sachs execs who destroyed the economy and then bankrolled his campaign. Now Manchin is threatening to kill the reconciliation bill because he says he opposes an “entitlement mentality”.
But yeah… Republicans.
Oh, tell us, how many Republicans are reaching across the aisle to support the bill? Is it still zero? Then yeah, Republicans and one asshole who is a Republican in reality but calls himself a Democrat are responsible.
The House just passed a $778 billion Pentagon budget, 316-113. Over twice as many Republicans voted against it than Democrats. Also Manchin’s wife received a bank board seat.
