When my parents moved from New Mexico to Arizona, I set up a banner of sorts on their new apartment wall using paper plates to spell out “WELCOME HOME”, one letter per plate. My stepfather took my mother to look at the rest of the apartment and I stayed behind. When they came back out, I had rearranged the plates to read “WEEMO HEMLOC”.
(Ask me later how you can unstitch and rearrange the letters on a hat that says “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” to say “I AM AN EAGER MAGIC KARATE”)
