    That was a Mustang Electric car. I’m impressed the batteries didn’t catch on fire.

    From what I’m told electric cars are built specifically to protect all that explosive shit.

    Heaven forfend that if that was a gasoline car with 20 to 30 gallons of a liquid that holds 45 MegaJoules of energy per gallon! That could have caught fire, but we know that absolutely none of those types of cars don’t catch fire!

    I have had an ICE car catch fire, but thankfully that was because some squirrels had put pine needles and other tinder next to my exhaust pipes. I am pleased that I had an extinguisher on hand.

    I’m told that when I was a wee baby we had a VW bus catch fire and burn to the ground for reasons unknown.
