where were these “ethics regulators” when trump didn’t separate himself from his businesses, was “having his kids handle” his businesses while they were right beside him being PAID advisors and supposedly handling every problem from peace in the middle east to covid19 ? ffs
I said over and over again it was insane why no Democrat bother to pursue Trump on the Emolument Clause, but then I realised… if they pulled on that thread their whole world would unravel. Pelosi would be in prison for a thousand years! The current Secretary of Defence is a sitting Raytheon board member! They wouldn’t dare!
“As soon as practicable but not later than 90 days after my confirmation, I will divest my financial interest in Raytheon,” Austin wrote in his ethics agreement with the Pentagon and his financial disclosure report, which are being released Sunday by the Office of Government Ethics. He also pledged to recuse himself for one year from decisions involving Raytheon, the nation’s No. 3 defense contractor. . . . more than trump ever did
I’m sure that’s a big relief to those who have been killed or maimed in the two (possibly three) times the administration has illegally bombed Syria in the last six months.
“I will…”, “He also pledged…”. I’ll believe it when I see it.
If true, it’s a shithead move.
(this is called “not being ride or die for the guy you voted for” and I’m sure it’s a new concept for some of you)
Projection much?

changing the argument when you realize you’re wrong , classic song
he’s more sneaky than that, he’s trying to throw as much disinformation at you at once in the hopes that you’ll just give up.
