    I see the issue, they’re arguing that the federal government should be able to do business independent of local governments, from city to state. Not specifically that the Geo group should keep doing their thing indefinitely.

    There’s no possible way any president from any party would argue differently, not if they valued being able to get anything done.

    Or it could be the Biden DOJ is fighting to to house migrants in for-profit prisons exactly like he said was terrible.

    I’m sure it’s a total coincidence that the privatised prison industry has been the top Biden campaign donors consistently since the 1990s.

    Maybe you’d like to explain the optics of campaigning on “No business should profit from the suffering of desperate people fleeing violence” and then moving to make that possible as soon as you get into the office to please your corporate donors.
