overlooks such basic procedure as tethering in a space environment , couldn’t take any of it seriously
Thank you! I was practically screaming at the TV. They did such a great job up until that point coming up with a uniquely realistic space vehicle and giving a pretty realistic experience.
Then “one cannister of liquid oxygen will support an astronaut for five months.”
Then a long crazy non-realistic rope climb with no tether for dramatic effect…
Then oops, I dropped it.
Then it just ended like I cared more about the people than the hard science fiction.
Ugh. Still raging. Did they just run out of money, or did someone really think that was the best way to end it?
