Directed by Steven Kostanski. With Steven Vlahos, Matthew Ninaber, Kristen MacCulloch, Rick Amsbury. After unearthing a gem that controls an evil monster looking to destroy the Universe, a young girl and her brother use it to make him do their bidding.

A low budget, high concept, high quality execution of a riff on b-grade movies with an unbelievable premise, cheap gore, confusingly great special effects, and somehow it all works. It doesn’t just work, but works so well I’d love to see a follow up.
