A good movie that ends in absolute ruin making a horrifying pivot from a movie about female empowerment to unsubstantiated allegations of rape and how they destroy the lives involved. I was really into the film right up until it had that sudden shift in tone and desperately wanted it to get back to actually making a difference. Instead they just end the movie on the futilities of life and how nothing will ever change.
