    Should be denied and held in custody until trial. He’s proven he’s a flight risk.

    If Rittenhouse really was a flight risk, wouldn’t he have left the region already? He’s collecting death threats and the prosecutor has so far refused to promise to keep any new address unpublicized.

    they’re saying he’s already violated his bond by fleeing the area and isn’t checking in as required by his bond.

    That’s not what “flight risk” means. The key word being “risk”.

    He didn’t answer a court summons, that’s why his bond’s been increased. Possibly because he gave the court a fake address.

    And they’ve not presented a single death threat. The only evidence they’ve presented so far has been an anonymous note that said they “hoped he was raped in prison”, basically. Which is in very poor taste but not a threat.

    It might hurt his feelings though.

    I don’t know why they thought he wouldn’t be able to make $2million bail. He murdered the sort of people right wing shitheads wish they could murder and get away with. Of course they were gonna take up a collection.
