If I were to tell you that Tina Fey wrote this show, you would immediately recognize the number and witty banter. I’m sure she didn’t pen every word that every character is saying, but her delightful sense of humor is all over this series, for better or worse. I’m of the opinion that it’s for the better, I’m a huge fan of her work on 30 Rock or Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Ted Danson has turned into an actor that I love nearly everything I see him in. To be honest though, he only came onto my radar with The Good Place, so maybe he was good before then, but I just didn’t get the opportunity to experience his brand of humor.
In any regard, you should check the show out, I enjoyed the first few episodes and now it’s on my DVR schedule.
