There’s a fair bit of race that I can’t get out of my mind, there’s not much likelihood that people of a darker color would have access to Society like this series portrays, but I’m happy that modern audiences can get the experience of the alternative history that’s presented here, because our lives would be fuller if this was the history that actually happened.
Getting past the obvious racist contents of the series, the story and even the acting are enthralling, with sets and fashion designs that absolutely titillate. There’s a whole bunch of R rated content towards the end of the series, so get ready for a whole lot of sexual content once the main leads are let off their leashes.
