So, turns out that the the Moon Fureur was alien who made the original apple that was given to adam and eve, who were not humans, but instead primates that upon eating the fruit began a rapid evolutionary process that brought us to humanity.
This movie is pure B level shlock that has absolutely no right being as good as this movie is. I could complain about how weird the story is, but it’s all internally consistent with some consistently adorable acting, special effects better than many theatrically released films, and a sound track that was great on my 5.1 surround system.
If you haven’t seen the first one, I suggest it, but it’s not required to know what’s happening here, there’s an informative and well done ‘previously’ on segment that happens naturally. It’s on Netflix, so if you’re on Netflix, you can watch it On Netflix.
