Played right through it in about four days and only installed it because it was included in GamePass, which now includes whatever the EA version of gamepass is named.
It’s a fun game that really hits hard if you’ve been watching the last 20 years of Star Wars movies and television shows, a little less so if you’re not an fervent fan. No spoilers, but I was unhappy with the ending. While I didn’t enjoy the final 30 seconds of the story, boy howdy was I impressed with the content before that, along with the gameplay that was just barely starting to feel repetitive towards the end. It should be no surprise to anyone that you start with a few Jedi powers, then work your way up to having more Jedi powers, along with collection various bits and bobs along the way, and that gameplay loop worked very well for my tastes.
The way the game ends leaves the opportunity for plenty of sequels, so here’s hoping they do something cool with the storyline!

Watched you play, fun to see.
ah, one of my Twitch viewers! there were dozens of you, dozens!
I share similar thoughts with you on this game. Dug the gameplay loop myself and just when I was starting to think, “I hope this wraps up soon” it was last planet time and some nice big set pieces.
I think I know exactly what you’re talking about when mentioning the “final 30 seconds of the story” and it kind of threw me for a loop as well. I think it makes sense for these characters at least but I wasn’t quite sure why the developers would destroy their easy sequel hook so easily. I guess that means if there are any sequels they’ll have to get a bit creative.
Playing this whilst watching The Mandalorian at the same time kind messed with my sense of where I was in the timeline, with The Mando happening immediately after The Return of the Jedi and Jedi Fallen Order taking place immediately after Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, during the time that Luke and Leia were still toddlers. During that time it was a dark period that the Empire expanded further and became stronger until they had control over huge swaths of the galaxy, including parts of the outer rim, as seen in The Mando.
I’d hope that’d be where they’d send the crew from Fallen Order. If I remember my star wars books correctly, that’s where fan favorite ahsoka tano was hiding out for a good portion of her time after leaving the Jedi Order.
