    In July 139 Democrats in the House voted against Bernie Sanders’s bill cutting the military budget by 10% (versus just 92 for), which would leave a meager 51% of all discretionary spending. Meanwhile the Senate passed defense bill including the provision requiring that military bases named after Confederate generals change their name.

    It’s just sad that people who support the Democrats have to project some imaginary world they want to be true rather than the truth as it actually is.

    how about 8 years of not confirming judges? 8 years of admitted “we’re going to sit on our hands while obama’s in office. now this year has shown the pure HYPOCRISY that the republicans live by. complain about a president playing golf then NOT complain when your guy golfs 5 times as much and billing the country to play at his own course. pathetic

    Just this year:

    • Democrats voted against a 10% reduction in military budget
    • Democrats took more money from Wall Street than Republicans
    • the DNC voted against banning corporate PAC money, and
    • the Speaker of the House pushed to reauthorise the Patriot Act.

    Regardless of who you think ‘my guy’ is, the Democrats are the party of Wall Street, War and Corporate America. If you think Turtle Club is against any of that, you’re a fool or you’re lying to yourself… kind of like whoever drew that cartoon is.

    “Your Party” supported all of that. “Your guy” has been the biggest disaster of a President the USA has ever seen, and he’s still at it, “your people” would rather burn Democracy down than admit they lost. “You” don’t have a shred of credibility left to spend on any issue, least of all Wall Street and the coddling of the 1%. “Your guy” pissed away anything being “Conservative” ever stood for, and is the antithesis of everything Bernie Sanders stands for. “You” are mentally ill and should seek help, and Bernie Sanders would be the first person to tell you so. “Your guy” doesn’t give two shits about you, please send him all of your money then die is all he wants from you, sucker.

    BREAKING NEWS: Not everyone who points out how deluded it is to think the Democrats are coming to save the US is a Trump supporter.

    I know it’s very comfortable to for you to think so, but it’s just not true. I know it’s probably very, very reassuring to think that way so please try to keep an open mind and listen: the largest voting bock in 2016 by a long way was people who didn’t vote. We’re talking on the order of more than 110% of people who voted for Clinton didn’t vote. I’m going to guess that a lot lof those people knew it really didn’t matter who you are voting for for the reasons I described above: they’re both the same party, really.

    What you are doing, this unhinged screed you just embarked on based on things you assume and think you know… you are only creating more Republicans simply because people like you are politically repellent… much like the MAGApedes who yell and scream at anyone who is different. The truth is you and them aren’t so different even of you tell yourself you’re not… you’re both the same party, really.

    what part of what’s been said makes you think democrats are 100% in approval of what the party does? we have problems with some of the dems that are there , there were plenty of bernie supporters that voted for trump when the dnc screwed him over. the need to get rid of both parties is what is needed

    Every single time someone here says anything remotely critical of the Democrats they get piled on and instantly branded as a Trump supporter. Don’t try to tell me that it doesn’t happen… you know it’s true.

    But we agree on that last part.
