Directed by Nicholas Meyer. With William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan. With the assistance of the Enterprise crew, Admiral Kirk must stop an old nemesis, Khan Noonien Singh, from using the life-generating Genesis Device as the ultimate weapon.

Every viewing of this film increases my opinion of it. Even reading all the reviews of it from the time, I still think this is the best that TOS movies were able to give us.

    It is pretty great. This is the movie that finally convinced my wife Star Trek was good and worth watching. She now might be into it more than I ever was. It started with us watching this together and then she wanted to binge watch every TV show. We were mostly successful. We only made it through the first season of Enterprise.

    I can only imagine that if this movie was more of what we got with TMP there wouldn’t be much of a franchise right now, or it would be vastly different.
