Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem (and its Halloween celebration), Hubie Dubois is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.

Reportedly a part of a four movie deal that Sandler was paid upwards of a quarter of a Billion dollars for, “Hubie Halloween” is definitely another Adam Sandler movie that’s on Netflix. It’s everything you could expect from Sandler at this point, with a friendly story and friends of Sandler popping in and out of the film, and jokes that are exactly where Sandler was 25 years ago, for better or worse. Better for him though, because if someone told me that I could get paid $80 per movie for about a month’s worth of filming with my buddies, I think I could churn out the same thing over and over again and be pretty happy with myself.
