    Back when Freddy was interesting. The reboot destroyed any chance of another film for the next twenty years.

    I still haven’t seen the reboot. The original franchise lost its way a bit along the way too though. New Nightmare tried and did a pretty decent job. I just don’t know if after all the wisecracking if Freddy could ever be actually scary again. The goal may just need to be make an entertaining movie instead of a scary one. I think it could be done.
