An NPR and PBS Frontline investigation reveals how the oil and gas industry used the promise of recycling to sell more plastic, even when they knew it would never work on a large scale.

Less than 10% of plastic has ever been recycled.

    No surprise the companies listed in the article lied about plastic too. It’s not the only environmental damage they’ve done but this may have the longest impact.

    I miss glass and metal. Reusable, much easier to sanitize, and drinks don’t taste like plastic when stored in it.
