That is definitely a decorating choice.

The tile on the floor is pretty inoffensive. But if the owner ever go to sell, looks like a lot of painting on those cabinets will have to be done. Or just replace them. And the fridge too.

I like the idea behind customizing your kitchen, but maybe try to be a bit more cohesive.
