    Because there is no evidence to support it’s use, and history has shown us that “good ideas” and common sense in medicine usually kill people.

    Oxygen on everyone? Oh? Turns out it is toxic? Causes blindness? Causes cell death in the heart and brain? Makes survival after cardiac arrest less likely.

    Backboards? Oh? Doubles chance of death from injury? Causes pressure ulcers which get infected and lead to death? Turns out not moving people is a horrible idea.

    I could go on all day.
