I skipped this whole series of movies originally because of the sinister religious angle, the made up insanity of the puzzles, the fake history, and honestly it just seemed boring.
It really was a boring film, and the religious storyline was belabored, but Tom Hanks really did it for me, though his long hair through the film made me chuckle every time I saw it, which was often.
After reading the book; it very much appears that author, Dan Brown, freely and wholly “Borrowed” the work of researcher William Henry, and then wrote a non-fiction candy coating for it.
But that’s OK, cause he’s rich now.
