    Permanently mothballing the Pontiac badge was a stupid move; they were responsible for the most consistently stylish and sporty cars GM had.

    But also pretty notorious for their terrible electronic systems. If that could have been saved, then yeah keep them going. I agree a lot of the cars looked pretty sharp.

    GM had electronics problems from Cadillac on down.
    It was sad they shuttered Oldsmobile, but Pontiac was a crime.
    My last couple of cars have been run of the mill mid-line Fords; basic styling but solid vehicles.
