Jesus said some rather specific things about the likelihood of it, and I can’t think of a single wealthy or powerful man in the Old Testament who was documented favorably, except Job, or one didn’t have their life made a living hell (David, Job, Samson, Moses) —often because —their power and wealth lead them into sin
