Directed by Jeremy Saulnier. With Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Patrick Stewart. A punk rock band is forced to fight for survival after witnessing a murder at a neo-Nazi skinhead bar.

I watched because it was on one of the 50 free streaming services on my roku and I noticed that Patrick Stewart was here, but holy fuck this movie is not for the feint of heart, either ethically or physically. I enjoyed the movie, but my wife definitely did not.

    The movie is really well done and is a compelling watch. It’s on my list of “movies that are really good but will never watch again”. It’s very brutal.

    I can see that being a point where someone would say, “and I’m out”. At least no one can say this is a movie that glorifies violence. It shows how terrible it can be and the consequences as a result.
