I had one exactly like that back in the 1980s. It belonged to my great-grandparents and they gave it to me when I moved away from home. It worked very well until a power surge killed it.
I have a 30″ (I think) RCA tube set that I bought in 1980, huge screen for back then.
It was a floor model at Circuit City and had been running damn near 24/7 when I bought it. Still works, picture and color still look as good as the day I bought it. My brother f’d up the speakers a bit but you can’t tell unless you turn it way up. My buddies all tell me I need to throw the thing away but it’s my bedroom set, damn near forty years old and it works great. I’m not getting rid of it until it officially tells me it’s done.
