This is what happens when Hollywood extras pick up “Hal McSweedy’s Recording Studio – I will Make you a Star for a reasonable fee” flyers, and take them seriously enough to drop in and cut something in their lunch break.
Hal did discover The Ramones, of course, who were then extras in a Romero zombie film, which allowed him to shut up the seedy store and pursue his dream of being a full-time rodeo clown with a really nice trailer.
