    Yes, It’s a Russian concept plane/ship that skimmed the water being faster than a boat but more fuel economical than a plane.
    Search for the Caspian sea monster.

    Thanks Jediadept, checked it out with that search – interesting stuff, on several levels. Being a pioneering shipbuilder was extra tough with nowhere else to go to sell your ideas. That the huge beasts could fly below radar and also evade torpedos, mines, and anti submarine nets appeals to the part of me that enjoys that kind of thing. Clip
