Unintentionally the second story I’ve seen this week that used similar story devices of showing the same event from multiple perspectives, of which I think Dunkirk did better than “flags of our fathers” and “Letters from Iwo Jima”. Tom Hardy specifically really did a great job with Christopher Nolen’s direction and filled out a role in which he doesn’t show his full face until the last 2 minutes of the flick.
I highly recommend this, it was much better than I was expecting.
I’m just waiting for tiki’s “masterfully cropping”\lazyness, to end up with something “politically incorrect”.
IMDB’s Fault, but my fault for using them as a data source, hurrumph.
UNKIR is Danish for “white power salute”.
