Can’t top off, only eight rounds, heavy, front hand hard easily split by grabbing it, too much cartridge for average combat, ammo way too heavy to carry a decent basic load, op rod subject to bending. Like the 1911 it was a generation leap forward at the time but quickly overcome by improved options.
