I give up on this game. I got about half way through and just lost all will to even load it up, kept it on the top of the “To Play” pile and just said “ugh” every time I saw it there. Perhaps it’s just more of the same from Borderlands 2, maybe it was the oxygen mechanic, maybe it was the setting, or maybe it was the characters. I loved ZER0 from the original sequel and there wasn’t really anyone that played the same in the Presequel.
Also, god damn I hated that oxygen mechanic where I was always running around trying to find air. I don’t need that kind of anxiety in my space shooters!
They lost me when they made up for lazy graphics by flashes of purple and pink that washed out the game. The first one was pretty good and the second one wasn’t bad. I wish that had my money back on the rest
